Nicolas Capelli

Nicolas Capelli is an international fund lawyer with 14 years of experience in the fund and secondary transaction industry in London, Paris, and Luxembourg. Nicolas assists management companies in the structuring of private equity, venture capital, mezzanine. and infrastructure investment funds, as well as working with French and non-French institutional investors and large family offices. He also regularly assists management companies and sponsors in secondary transactions (LP-led and GP-led). Nicolas has deep knowledge of structuring semi-liquids funds, including European LongTerm Investment Funds (ELTIFs); investing in private assets (in particular funds of funds, private equity, and private debt); and structuring investment products to be marketed to retail clients, including through units of accounts of French and Luxembourg life insurance contracts. Nicolas also has an extensive background structuring carbon credit funds. He is a member of the fiduciary board of a company certifying carbon credits.
